Goodbye Beppu- Next Stop Yufuin

Time to say good bye to Beppu and move on to our next destination, which my hubby say would be one that i will enjoy tremendously. As he had done extensive research to find this really authentic Japanese Ryokan  called Yufuin Iyotomi Ryokan. Nobody speaks English here hence my hubby really took the effort to email them using the translation to get a room. But seriously it was worth every bit of his hard work.

The Entrance of Iyotomi- I will never forget the hospitality and the experience.

Our room and its comes with balcony and ensuite toilet

You can book the onsen for private use. Basically, so long that you are in the Onsen, you can lock it up and there will be a indicator at the corridor to inform you that it is occupied.

They have many Onsen, 2 outdoors and 2 indoors.

We had this outdoor family Onsen all to ourselves in the evening and morning. It is the best experience that i ever had. All to ourselves and they are no limitation to the time.So far, nothing has been able to beat this.

Indoor family Onsen. Its also really good.

Although i really don't feel like leaving the Onsen, we still had to vist this little quint town. we rented a bike with our JR pass wander off to explore the town.

The route leading to the lake will bring to many interesting shops.

On our return from the lake, we happen to bypass a local super market and we couldn't resist visiting it.

The sushi looks so yummy and fresh we just had to buy it. And the price, very very reasonable.

If our Ryokan didn't include our dinner and breakfast, we would has a feast on this sushi.

Getting Ready for our dinner at the Ryokan, its so exciting to have a Kaiseki Meal.

Its a really good meal!

We ended the the night with a filled stomach and went for another round of Onsen before retiring for the night.
