Day 10 -Tokyo

Today, is the 2nd day of the New year and there are 2 things that we intend to do today:

• Fukubukuro (Lucky Bag)- Big bargains in these bags, the items inside these bags are worth 2-3times the price you paid.
• The special appearance by the Emperor which only happens twice a year, today and on his birthday. (10.10am, 11, 11.50, 12.40, 1.30, 2.30 and 3.20pm)

Outside the Tokyo Imperial Palace

Look at the number of people on the bridge, waiting to see the Emperor.

We are waiting the appearance of the Emperor.

Finally, they appear! Everyone was cheering and shouting "Banzai! Banzai!"

The Emperor appear for about 2 mins and gave a speech.
