Florence

Florence, the capital of the Tuscany and the birthplace of the Italian renaissance is a very charming city.
It is famous for its leather products thus you can actually see many shop selling them. The most famous bridge the Ponte Vecchio is what most tourist come for. It is said that the bridge used to have lots of butcher shops but because it dirty the river hence now it houses jewellery shops instead.

What an amazing city...

I still haven't got the chance to visit Florence but I hope some say I could.

This find-your-life-trip is a great and exciting idea. When I was 21 (uuppss that was long ago...) I decided to sell my car, quit my job and bought a ticket to Spain. For the first time in my life I felt absolutly alone, there was no one to take care of me, I had not much money but during that trip I met a lot of interesting people and most important I found who I was and what I would like to become.

I wish you very good luck on your project. In case you would like to visit Tenerife I can recommend you with some friends.

Cheers!

PS. The pictures look very good. Which camera are you using?

Hi Mauicio,

Thanks for your kind comment. Yes it was the first
time in my life that I felt I had total control of
what I want to do and where I want to go... The sense
of freedom is wonderful. I really miss my travelling
days, guess you too? Even though I stay and eat
poorly, I was very happy every single day of the trip.
Just like what you say, the people you met, and
things you saw along the way make up for it all. I
was only using a Panasonic Lumix FX6 digital camera.
Small and handy, am not a pro in taking pictures
though!

P.S Would really love to visit Tenerife, but guess
travelling has to take a backseat now that I am back
in the corporate world. If you are coming Singapore,
do let me know. Cheers!
